I've done some artwork - most are just sketches. I've got some issues with my skills/techniques so please could anyone advise me where to get brilliant tutorials on how to draw cartoon/manga characters especially the face expressions and various face shapes such as long narrow faces and fat round faces as well as different eye shapes, lips and noses. What books would you recommend that I should buy? I would ask for those for Christmas =D Cheers LBUK

I've drawn characters from the manhua "Dragon Tiger Gate" (aka "Oriental Heroes" - US version) when I was a kid. I have drawn and painted up to the A level course at school but not in cartoons or anything sadly. I wasn't encouraged to do that. Since I left school I have not done anything so it's thirty years later and I fall in love with the mangas either by books or online. I would like to draw some Manga characters and create a story or a name (as the mangaka usually call it but we call it a draft). At the moment I am studying the characters, drawings, structures and so on on either mangas or here in DeviantArt. Wish me luck! :)
